Charles ("Charlie") Barr has more than 30 years of courtroom experience. He carries a peer review rating of "AV," the highest rating accorded by Martindale-Hubbell. He handles a wide variety of civil trials and appeals, including business and real estate disputes, breach of contract claims, Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) cases, environmental cases, and consumer class action matters. He is the Wisconsin Contributing Editor of the ABA Survey of State Class Action Law and a Contributing Author of Wisconsin Methods of Practice (Thomson West). Charlie is recognized for his skill in handling appeals. He has a depth of knowledge in both state and federal appellate procedure and receives frequent referrals in these matters from other attorneys.

 

In 2010, Charlie was elected Vice President of the Milwaukee Bar Association. This position leads to the presidency of the association, which Charlie will assume in 2012. He received the MBA’s Distinguished Service Award in 2009.
